About Kevin Collins

A native of Macon, Georgia, Dr. Collins received his undergraduate degree from Mercer University and his Doctor of Medicine degree from Mercer University School of Medicine. Dr. Collins completed his Orthopaedic Surgery residency at Louisiana State University Health in Shreveport, Louisiana. He then completed a Sports Medicine fellowship in Arthroscopy/Sports Medicine through the Hughston Foundation in Columbus, Georgia.

Dr. Collins is Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery and is Board Certified in Sports Medicine. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine.

He began his practice in Valdosta, Georgia in 2007 and has been serving patients including student-athletes in South Georgia and North Florida.

He is the head team physician for Valdosta State University and orthopedic consultant for Thomas University. He provides orthopaedic sports medicine services and consultation for numerous schools including Colquitt County High School.

Dr. Collins specializes in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder, knee, and elbow.
