About Daniel Blankenship
Daniel Russ Blankenship, MD, graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Georgia in Athens, GA, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He went on to earn his medical degree and completed a one-year internship in general surgery at the Medical College of Georgia, in Augusta. Dr. Blankenship completed his otolaryngology-head and neck surgery residency at the Medical College of Georgia as well.
A board certified otolaryngologist, Dr. Blankenship has published several medical research articles and he has presented in his specialty area of disorders of the head and neck and surgical treatments using the laryngoscope. He is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy.
