About Rourke Stay
Dr. Stay is a board certified radiologist who specializes in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in physics from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia, and went on to earn his medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine. Dr. Stay completed his internship at the Crozer-Chester Medical Center in Upland, Pennsylvania, and completed his radiology residency at the University of Virginia. He was fellowship trained in MRI at the University of California-San Diego. Dr. Stay interprets the full spectrum of radiology exams, and is proficient in non-vascular body procedures including paracentesis, thoracentesis, CT and ultrasound guided biopsy and drainage, myelograms, and arthrograms.
Certified by the American Board of Radiology in diagnostic radiology, he is a member of the American College of Radiology, Radiological Society of North America, American Roentgen Ray Society, Medical Association of Georgia, and the Muscogee County Medical Society. He has published several articles regarding innovative imaging techniques and he presents his scientific research at national meetings and symposiums. Dr. Stay continues his research interests through the Hughston Foundation, Inc.
