The Georgia Athletic Trainers’ Association (GATA) has named Kevin J. Collins, MD, as the recipient of the Dr. Jack C. Hughston Physician of the Year Award. Dr. Collins is with the Hughston Clinic in Valdosta and Moultrie. He has been the team physician for Valdosta State University for 17 years and Colquitt County High School for 12 years. He also serves the Open Bible School, Lowndes High School, and Thomas University when needed.
The GATA is committed to the education of its members and the enhancement of the athletic training profession.
